War Alliance Alpha Update Introduces Heroes

For the past few months, the War Alliance team has been hard at work processing feedback and analysis from the open beta and adding some exciting new features to the game. One of the biggest additions, Heroes, transforms the War Alliance experience, presenting a new take on the battle arena genre. 

Here are some of the changes you can expect in the latest update:

• Heroes: Addition of 5 Hero units, each offering a unique playing style. Each are able to be directly controlled by the player and also the means by which a player will lose the match (i.e. opposing player will defeat your hero by bring down it's hit points to zero). Read more about Heroes here.
• Classes: With the addition of our Heroes, we're adding 3 Hero Classes that all have distinct gameplay styles and will further influence how players build their battle decks.
• Graphics: Many of the visual elements in the game have been overhauled and optimized, helping improve the user interface & related in-game functionality, providing a more fluid, user-friendly experience.
• Cards: Introduction of new cards to the game, while some were removed 
• News Feed: Addition of a news feed that will offer snippets and links to the latest news related to the game
• Support: Zendesk support and Help Center added
• AI: The AI of our bots was improved
• Balance: Unit balance and card distribution have been optimized
• Tutorial: New tutorial implemented
• Bugs: Various bugs were identified and fixed
• Optimization: Optimized and improved various features, assets, etc.

As part of this update, all accounts will require a reset.
