Pre-launch CLAN TOURNAMENT

SIGN YOUR CLAN UP FOR OUR SPECIAL PRE-LAUNCH CLAN TOURNAMENT on DISCORD

Over on the official War Alliance Discord server, we've been running some player-organized tournaments complete with Gem rewards for winners and participants. In that spirit, we've decided to celebrate the upcoming launch of Clans with a special Clan Tournament where every Clan that participates will get a prize... more on that in just a bit.

So what do you need to do to participate?

Step 1: Start putting together your clan! If you don't already have a group of Friends ready to join your Clan, you can head over to the #clans-recruitment channel on our Discord server and start recruiting. Keep in mind, you'll need at least 5 members to participate in the tournament!

Step 2: Head over to the #tournaments-signupclans channel on our Discord server and share the following information:

• Name of Clan
• Discord & War Alliance Username of the Owner
• Discord & War Alliance Usernames of the 4 other Clan members who will be participating in the Tournament

Step 3: Wait for your first round match-up. The registration period has been extended and will end on FRIDAY, the 22nd of May, and we will then put together the seeding and the tournament structure and then get in touch with the Clan leaders directly and also share information on relevant channels within the Discord server.

Step 4: Compete and share results. Like all Discord tournaments, players who are matched up against each other square-off in a Friendly match, sharing their results on the respective Discord channel. As the tournament continues, brackets are then re-compiled and play proceeds until a winner emerges.

Prizes

So what are the prizes for participating in the Tournament? First, it's important to explain a key component of Clan progression.

As a Clan grows and levels up, it will unlock a variety of benefits, including an increase in the maximum amount of members. At level 1, a Clan can have a maximum of 10 members. This number increases by ten every level, until level 5 where it caps off at 50 members. 

With that in mind, the prizes are as follows:

• 1st Place: Clan Boosted to Level 5
• 2nd Place: Clan Boosted to Level 4
• 3rd Place: Clan Boosted to Level 3
• All other Clans: Clan Boosted to Level 2

So no matter what, your Clan will have a boost when Clans launches simply from participating. And who knows? Maybe YOUR Clan will rise above all others to claim the Grand Prize!
